I do sometimes, but most of the time my PC is doing something for me even when I’m not there..
I’ve posted about using technology in your online business to automate processes like email broadcasting with aweber, but that’s not the only way you can make your life easier.
I get a lot of traffic to my blogs and sites from videos that I’ve created and uploaded to video sharing sites, but when I started doing this I quickly realized doing it manually was just too time consuming to be practical.
So I went looking for an automated solution.
There are a few systems that will automate the process of uploading videos to video sharing sites, so it did take me a while to compare the different features and benefits and the relative price points.
I decided on one that was a one time payment and would upload my videos to around 20+ video sites, so I can just spark it up, enter the details of the video and some keywords then head off to bed, lunch, beers with friends or whatever and know that my PC is still working on my business for me.

I also have a laptop, which spends some of it’s life sat next to my PC on my desktop, but that’s also put to work while I’m not using it.
about 10 months ago I came across an automated link building system that I can set up in a few minutes and leave it to go off and generate a whole bunch of new backlinks to my sites while I’m doing other stuff.
This system is actually closed to new members most of the time, as they keep a strict limit of the number of people that can use it, but I thought I’d mention it in this post as they’re currently open for new members, although they’re only letting 54 new members in, and when I checked a few minutes ago it was down to just 21 spots left..

and if you’re quick you might find there are still places open..
Whatever you decide to use, it makes good sense to be able to have your PC working on your business for you even when you’re not sat in front of it, so take 5 minutes to think about what daily processes take up your time, or what you would do more of if you could automate it, and go search for an automated solution, there is usually one out there…
