Clickbank are probably the best known “Info product” affiliate market place and whilst they have some drawbacks with their system, specifically hoplink hijacking, the advantages tend to outweigh the dissadvantages, especially for us Brits who are VAT registered as they deal with all the VAT requirements for us, saving a (potentially) huge accounting headache, but…

One of the dissadvantages of clickbank if you’re not in the US is the time that the cheques can take a while to arrive in the post and then even more time to clear in your bank account, as well as your bank potentially charging fees for a “currency negotiation”.

Well Clickbank have now solved that problem by offering a XACH direct deposit option!

Sometimes insisting on testing a product out myself before telling my subscribers about it can potentially cost me sales, today is a good example, although I have to admit it’s my own fault.

A new store building system was launched a few hours ago and I knew about it far enough in advance to have been able to test it out before now, but due to my own dissorganized and hectic schedule, and perhaps spending a little too much time in Warcraft, I didn’t get around to trying it out myself before today.

So potentially I’m could miss out on some sales simply because other marketers are already letting their lists know about it, and I won’t until I’ve tried it.

I figure that if I can’t get it working for me, then I can’t promote it…

If you’re wondering why I’m doing this post rather than getting on with testing it, well I’m waiting for the nameservers to resolve for the site I’m going to test it out on, I did say I hadn’tplanned ahead on this one!

With more and more “affiliate marketers” promoting the same products and fighting over the potential commissions available it’s becoming common for marketers to offer bonuses for the “Big” launches, but is it worth it for any launch/product..?

Here’s a quick and simple plan for making some cash in just 7 days (or less) without needing a website, it was my answer to an email I recently received from a subscriber who wanted to know how he could get a bit of cash in a hurry without having to spend any money up front…

1. Do a bit of keyword research to find a suitable “non-high competition” niche.

Use the free version of WordTracker here: http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/

2. Use the best 22-25 keyphrases to write 20-25 artilces for the niche, writing 4-5 articles per day is a pretty easy target to achieve, with a bit of pratice it should only take an hour or so each evening to knock out the articles.

You can do the research for the articles quite easily by using big article directories like EZineArticles.com, just make sure you write original articles, don’t copy or plagiarise!

3. Then sell those article as a “private label” package on The Warriors Forum as a Warriors Special Offer or “WSO”.

Have you evern wondered what people actually do when they visit your website or blog?

OK, maybe it’s just me being nosey…

anyway, I found a way of doing exactly that recently and it’s way cool!

oh, there is one downside, it’s a bit like when you “get” facebook, you can suddenly lose hours as they fly by without you noticing…

The system I’ve been using to “spy” on my website visitors actually records what they do on your sie, including where their mouse goes and what they click on, which can be very revealing..

I’ve also stuck it on a few of my product salespages to see what people do, whether they do really just scan the bullet points or zoom straight down to the price or the “P.S.” at the bottom.

John Thornhill Offers Some Sound Advice…

I read an excellent post from John Thornhill last week called Is This Why You’re Failing Online

There’s some cracking tips in the post to help people actually “take action” and get things done..

but the reason I’m mentioning it is because he quotes a classic “plea for help” email he received from one of his subscribers, and whilst his reply to the subscriber and the reply he got back is sadly typical, it’s one of the lines in the original email that caught my attention..

“I’ve tried everything and I’m at a loss”.

I’ve also tried everything and I can say from my own experience that it’s not the right way of doing things if you want to be successful and build a profitable business online.

The more things you try, the less you actually get finished.

My business is far healthier since I decided to concentrate on just one or two areas of internet marketing, specifically writing information products of my own and building email/subscribers lists, although I admit I do still sometimes get sidetracked myself.
